When we speak of an aim in general, the focus is on time-phased and measurable outcomes. However, a more important consideration is how intentional are the methods of reaching at-risk children in the interest of effectively teaching them. The intent of education is to position the young to become self-sufficient rather than to secure job security for the education industry. Moreover, the original intent of public education was to prepare children to become good citizens of America.

Please join TALK-STRAIGHT host, Rev. Dr. Rueben Dockery as he engages the audience in a dialogue about understanding the aims of public education in general.
