While the 13th Amendment of the United States Constitution freed “Negroes” from Chattel Slavery, there is a specific condition under which anyone can become enslaved to the Criminal Justice System today! Perhaps one of the most significant lessons to teach urban American youth, who are prone to incarceration is the possibility of becoming entrapped into the bondage of the Criminal Justice System, as a result of behaviors that legally takes way their right to freedom.
