So often, people see happiness as a goal, something to chase after, something outside of themselves. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself...what does happiness really mean? Join me and my guest, Lisa Cypers Kamen, as we explore the meaning of happiness.

As a filmmaker, author, professor, and motivational speaker specializing in the field of happiness, Lisa Cypers Kamen is widely recognized as an expert on the subject. Lisa’s acclaimed documentary film co-created with her now twelve year old daughter, Kayla, “H-Factor...Where is your Heart?,” explores how people—in varied circumstances—find, generate, and share happiness.

In addition to her film on happiness, Lisa has published a number of articles and is currently working on a book on the subject.

Lisa also travels the US presenting her Harvesting Happiness workshops and seminar series to groups such as the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, Equinox Fitness, Motherhood, Inc. and more.

As a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California (USC), other colleges, and a consultant to Project +, a multi-disciplinary research project on happiness and how it can impact the world, Lisa brings her Harvesting Happiness workshop the most up-to-date research and information combined with her simple, no-nonsense, warm and humorous approach to facilitate joy.

Currently living in Los Angeles, California, Lisa Cypers Kamen is the mother of two active children. She is dedicated to the success of the Sulaxmi School for Girls in Lucknow, India—an educational organization whose mission to provide basic education to impoverished children in need. Her Harvesting Happiness workshops and film proceeds help support this cause.
