Recently honored as one of the Top 25 women in Atlanta.  

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mrs. Shepherd earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Social Welfare from Dillard University. She earned her Master of Business
Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, and she is currently pursuing her
Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership program at Argosy University.

As a professional, Mrs. Shepherd is pleased to be a member of the Atlanta Business
League, National Council of Negro Women, Urban League and the Gwinnett Chamber of
Commerce. In like manner, she views involvement in community initiatives as equally
vital. She was President of the Parent/Teacher Association at Milestone Sabis Academy
in New Orleans from 2006 to 2007 and she is a founding member of the Healthcare
Council at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Shepherd has received a measure of recognition for the expertise she has shown
in her career. She is the recipient of numerous awards to include inclusion in Who’s
Who In Black Atlanta 2011 and being named the keynote speaker of The National
Council of Negro Women’s 55th Annual Founder’s Day Event in December 2011 (Detroit,
Michigan).
