Host Adam Burke had a lot to say on today’s edition of The Bettor’s Box. As somebody that actually uses and pays attention to spin rates and the impact that they have on betting baseball, this has been a frustrating few days as MLB has made a fundamental change to the game in the middle of a season. Adam talked about why spin rates are important, the tangible impact that they have on offense, what we’ve seen already this month that could be part of the crackdown, and some pitchers and teams more likely to be affected than others.
