Host Adam Burke was back on the airwaves today with a new edition of The Bettor’s Box. Some listener questions came in that led to a good discussion about being organized as a bettor with what could be a very busy fall on the horizon. Adam also shared some beer and bourbon recommendations per listener request.
A listener question regarding last season’s juiced baseball and its impact on regression analysis handicapping was a good one. Adam talked about the statistical outliers for both starters and relievers last year and how they did a number on his handicapping. He also addressed what last year’s outliers mean going forward and why it could be really tough to get started with betting on baseball this season.
