Brian Blessing, the host of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline, was our leadoff hitter on the program today to chat about the NFL, NHL, and this week’s European Tour event, the Turkish Airlines Open. On the NFL side, the guys recapped what we saw last week and then looked ahead to this week’s action, with breakdowns of Chargers vs. Raiders, Bills vs. Browns, and Falcons vs. Saints. On the NHL, they took a deep dive into Tuesday’s card, including some of Brian’s favorite selections for this evening, and also looked ahead to the weekend when the Sabres and Lightning play in Stockholm, Sweden. Finally, staying over across the pond, the guys went to Turkey to break down the Turkish Airlines Open in golf.

Ralph Michaels is a professional handicapper over at WagerTalk.com and he joins us every Tuesday to break down football. Well, this week, the guys also talked college hoops with the start of the season on Tuesday night. First, they started with some college football, with thoughts on Washington vs. Oregon State, LSU vs. Alabama, and then Iowa vs. Wisconsin. On the college hoops side, they discussed some final tips and notes to prepare for the season. They looked at the ACC starting with conference games. Then they talked about Little Brother vs. Big Brother using Drexel vs. Temple as an example. Then they looked at three marquee games for Tuesday night, with Saint Mary’s vs. Wisconsin, Kansas vs. Duke, and Michigan State vs. Kentucky.
