After a quick intro from host Adam Burke, it was time to get down to business. Brian Blessing, the host of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline, joined Adam for this week’s Betting the Board segment, as the guys talked NFL Week 9, some thoughts on the NHL and the Tuesday night card, and this week’s golf action, with a focus on the WGC-HSBC Champions event in China. On the NFL side, the guys looked back at Week 8 and then looked ahead to Week 9, including thoughts and breakdowns for 49ers vs. Cardinals and Texans vs. Jaguars over in London. The guys took a look around the NHL to talk about what we’ve seen so far and also look at Tuesday’s card. Finally, the WGC-HSBC Champions event is a good one in China and Brian discussed his plays and picks.

Professional handicapper Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com also joined Adam today for the Capping the Card segment. The guys started with some college basketball insight with that season just a week away from getting underway. They talked about the rule changes and the impact that they could have. Sticking with the college theme, they discussed Week 10, including BYU vs. Utah State, Oregon vs. USC, and Kansas State vs. Kansas and SMU vs. Memphis was a late add to the show. The guys also talked about some great betting angles to follow in November as teams attain bowl eligibility or see no chance of bowl eligibility.
