We're on the eve of Week 1 in the college football betting world, which means that we had a lot to talk about on the Wednesday August 28 edition of BangTheBook Radio. Professional handicapper Bryan Leonard joined us for this week's Sports Wagering Talk segment to take a look at college fotball, including Bryan's process for setting up power ratings and the stats he uses to form his opinions on teams. He outlined his thoughts on the Mid-American Conference for the upcoming 2019 season. The guys looked at Kent State vs. Arizona State, Toledo vs. Kentucky, and Eastern Michigan vs. Coastal Carolina.

Wes Reynolds, @WesReynolds1 on Twitter, joined us for the second half of the show to talk NFL and college football on the Wednesday Wagering segment. The guys took a look at Week 4 of the Preseason, with all 32 teams in action on Thursday night. Then they looked at college football, to discuss how Wes narrows down the big cards, the virtues of derivative betting, and how to handicap those lesser-known FCS teams.
