Our first full week of shows is in the books, as host Adam Burke rounded out a fine week of shows with two solid guests. Christian Pina of the Sports Gambling Podcast joined us to talk about his MLB betting strategies and his college football season preparations. We've focused on the different ways of handicapping this week and Christian brought another new perspective to the show with his focus on prop and derivative markets.
Brent, the head risk manager at DSI Sportsbook, joined us to talk about what the job of a risk manager actually is. He discussed the use of information to move lines and then looked at some of his futures exposure in college football and the NFL. We do have sharp action out there for Week 1 games in both college football and the NFL, so the guys discussed those and also more along the way about the whys and hows of the job.
