March Madness took center stage for our first three episodes of BangTheBook Radio this week. For our Thursday edition of the program, we went with baseball and UFC. Host Adam Burke gave his thoughts on the teams in the National League Central to start off the show. All five teams look really competitive for the upcoming season, so it was a good time to discuss those teams as we are just one week away from Opening Day for everybody but the Mariners and A's.
Christian Pina of the Sports Gambling Podcast and our UFC writer at BangTheBook.com joined Adam for a look at the UFC Fight Night 148 event in Nashville on Saturday with a main event of Anthony Pettis and Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson. The guys looked at the other bouts on the fight card and Christian discussed his favorite picks and predictions for this weekend's MMA action.
