We're back to bring you a new edition of BangTheBook Radio this holiday season. Host Adam Burke started it off with Bryan Leonard from WagerTalk.com to chat about the college football bowl games this week. The guys looked at the three games coming up on Thursday with the Independence Bowl between Duke and Temple, the Pinstripe Bowl between Miami and Wisconsin, and the Texas Bowl between Vanderbilt and Baylor. They also took a look at Week 17 in the NFL to discuss how to approach this week full of landmines with playoff scenarios, teams resting guys, and teams playing out the string.

Wes Reynolds, @WesReynolds1 on Twitter, joined us to share his thoughts on Week 17 in the NFL. It is such an interesting week for a variety of different reasons, as we have some teams favored that normally wouldn't be and teams lined as a bigger favorite because of what is on the line. The guys also took a look at the NBA, as we've passed the Christmas holiday, which some consider to be the unofficial start of the season. Will Wes be looking to play on the top contenders? Is he expecting a switch to flip? We talked about that and more to finish out today's show.
