Awake 2 Oneness Radio with Author Kaolin on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 7:00 PM EST. This program was pre-recorded.

Kaolin was born in 1951 in Brooklyn, New York; she married in 1970 George A. Williams, who was a Vietnam Vet & NYC Firefighter. As a bi-racial couple it was difficult for them to marry in the early 70’s, especially because Kaolin’s family didn’t want her to marry outside of her race. They had two children and divorced after 9 years of marriage.

As the author of "Talking About Race: A Workbook About White People Fostering Racial Equality in Their Lives", Kaolin does public speaking and consults with teachers and activists who are using her book. In addition to teaching, Kaolin is in several documentaries and designs study guides and workshop training programs for organizations, schools and programs that are dedicated to fostering racial equality in schools and the workplace.
