Matt Coyle is the best-selling author of the Rick Cahill crime novels. His first book, YESTERDAY'S ECHO, won the Anthony Award for Best First Novel, the San Diego Book Award for Best Mystery, the IBPA Ben Franklin Silver Award for Best New Voice in Fiction, and was a Macavity finalist for Best First Novel. The second, NIGHT TREMORS, was a finalist for the Anthony, Shamus, and Lefty Awards. The third Rick Cahill crime novel, DARK FISSURES, was a finalist for the Macavity and Lefty Awards. BLOOD TRUTH, the fourth book in the series, was released last week. Matt is currently writing the fifth Rick Cahill crime novel in San Diego, where he lives with his Yellow Lab, Angus.

Kristi Belcamino is a Anthony, Macavity, and Barry Award finalist as well as a crime fiction writer, cops beat reporter, and Italian mama who also bakes a tasty biscotti. In her former life, as an award-winning crime reporter at newspapers in California, she flew over Big Sur in an FA-18 jet with the Blue Angels, raced a Dodge Viper at Laguna Seca and attended barbecues at the morgue. Her nonfiction writing has appeared in several publications, including the New York Times, Salon, Writer’s Digest, Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, and the San Jose Mercury News. Kristi now works part-time as a police reporter at the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
