Crime Corner host and author MATT COYLE welcomes former policewoman and award-winning author ROBIN BURCELL to his debut broadcast.       Robin Burcell spent nearly three decades working in law enforcement as a police officer, hostage negotiator, criminal investigator and FBI Academy-trained forensic artist.  Burcell currently co-writes with international best-selling author Clive Cussler on the Fargo series. PIRATE, their first co-written book, as been released and is available for review.    Burcell was the first female officer for her department. Her badge read "Policeman" and her locker room was actually a converted storeroom. While she'd always wanted to be a writer, her childhood dream was to be an Olympic ice skater. Unfortunately she didn't seriously start skating until her early twenties and by then it was too late. That hobby, however, was instrumental in allowing her to easily pass the physical agility test to get into the police academy.

Host Matt  Coyle's YESTERDAY'S ECHO, won the Anthony Award for Best First Novel,  the IBPA Ben Franklin Silver Award for Best New Voice in Fiction. NIGHT TREMORS, was a finalist of the Lefty Award for Best Regional Mystery, a finalist for the Anthony Award for Best Mystery and  a Shamus Award for Best First P.I. Novel.
