He manages chemical and mental health contracts for "the man" (i.e., Hennepin County), writes dark and weird fiction, spends leisure time studying the sociological and psychological impact of narcotics, interviews authors on a weekly podcast (Scrivener Soapbox), and does mobile recording/editing in the Twin Cities.

Amanda Lyons is a longtime fan of horror and fantasy, Ms. Lyons writes character driven novels that, while influenced by her darker interests, can also be heavily laced with fantasy, romance, history and magic.
