Authors on the Air host Pam Stack is honored to welcome author CHRIS ORCUTT. Chris recently released his newest book that he describes as a "modern novel", One Hundred Miles from Manhattan.  This beautifully crafted book is set in the fictional, wealthy town of Wellington and features the lives, loves, failures and victories of its residents. It is a collection of exquisite prose and storytelling in short story form.  More about Chris:   CHRIS ORCUTT is the author of the critically acclaimed Dakota Stevens Mystery Series, including the first novel, A REAL PIECE OF WORK, and the second, THE RICH ARE DIFFERENT. Orcutt has written professionally for over 20 years as a journalist, fiction writer, playwright, scriptwriter, technical writer and speechwriter.
