Maxine Meilleur is a Master of Divinity candidate at Harvard Divinity School and the first Spiritualist and working psychic medium there since Frederic Willis was expelled in 1857. In addition, she is pursuing a Certificate in Parapsychology from the Rhine Center at Duke University. She loves working with the Spirit World and has been known to travel to distant continents just to sit in on a good seance. Maxine has published and presented her work in a variety of venues. Her scholarly monograph, Great Moments of Modern Mediumship: Volume 1, received praised from the former President of the Society of Psychical Research as, “a very interesting collection of extraordinary cases from a wide range of sources.” Maxine also has four scholarly articles published. Finally, Maxine presented a paper on gallery readings at the 2014 British Association for the Study of Religion Conference and presented her work on the role of discarnate entities and their role in spiritual healing within a poster session at the 2015 Conference on Medicine and Religion whose theme was “Spiritual Dimensions of Illness and Healing.” Having lived in the Middle East for over 20 years, she loves coffee tasseography and has seen individuals perform divination using the Qur'an! Maxine's readings are ministerial as she believes that if readings do not touch and move the soul what is the point of them. She is launching her on radio show soon and her website is www.moderndayseer.com.
