If you saw the cover of the February issue of TIME magazine, then you have certainly heard about mindfulness.  However what exactly is Mindfulness and why is it suddenly so popular?  Why are CEOs using it to become better leaders and organizations like Carlsberg, Google, and Sony bringing it to their employees?

Find out what mindfulness is and how this ancient practice has many benefits for today’s 24/7 world.  Understand how to use it every day or in a more formal manner.  Learn the scientifically proven benefits that can help you deal with stress, be less reactive and become more focused.  You’ll also have an opportunity to experience mindfulness during the interview.

Wendy Woods is passionate about workplace resilience. Her many years in financial services taught her about the challenges of working in a high paced, high stressed, complex environment.  By focusing on Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness and Laughter she brings passion, fulfillment and purpose into the workplace.

Wendy brings over a decade of corporate training, coaching and consulting experience in Productivity, Leadership and Work-life balance.  She provides engaging workshops, interactive webinars and one-on-one coaching throughout North America.

She has received international recognition from a wide range of clients including Ernst & Young, Johnson & Johnson, and TD Bank Financial Group.  Wendy is also faculty in the University of Toronto’s Certificate in Applied Mindfulness Meditation and was the initial head of The Mind @ Work stream in that program.
