Musings on Astrology: A summer of retrogrades

Musings on Astrology is an astrology talk show offered every Sunday morning at 11 am Eastern. Your host is Lynn Hayes, astrologer since 1983.

Every year the outer planets appear to move backwards (we call that retrograde) for about six months, and for the past 30 years or so this has occurred in the summer. Neptune and Pluto are already retrograde, and Uranus will turn retrograde on July 5th. What does it mean when an outer planet is retrograde? How does that affect us as individuals? What do we need to know to use this time most effectively?
