WHAT CAN YOU REALLY DO ABOUT DEPRESSION and SUICIDAL IDEAS AMONG VETERANS AND ADULT STUDENTS?  Probably very little. BUT if you know someone (friends, family, coworkers) who is depressed, sad, or showing different behaviors these days share or listen to this inspiring show with them. Encourage them to contact White Apple Institute for emotional support while connecting to resources. Special KUDOS to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention www.afsp.org and the Veterans Crisis Hot Line http://www.veteranscrisisline.net/ThePowerof1.aspx and so many other organizations dedicated to preventing depression and suicide. Special Guests Melinda Vail, Intuitive Therapist and Steve Schiro, Educator, President of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-Tempe, and Facilitator of "Out of the Darkness Walks", join our Veterans and Students with inspirational messages and resources.

The White Apple Institute Talk Show, is produced by the students and veterans of White Apple Institute (a nonprofit 501 c 3). We are dedicated to restoring hope and preventing underserved adult students with emotional challenges and disabilities from dropout/burnout from school, work, and LIFE! Let's encourage even those who have been out of the classroom for some time, to  "Take a bite of White Apple Wisdom and change the perception of 'disabled to differently-abled' to achieve their goals in higher education and succeed in the workforce!  Learn more about how to volunteer and sponsor a student veteran in the "Place your B.E.T.S. on our VETS" crisis intervention program.
