Dr. Applewhite discusses the reasons why Student Parents and Student Veterans drop-out of college and the workforce. She gives emphasis to the issues that emotionally “disable” us. Many of these students are Veterans and parents categorized as "non-traditional" adult learners/students that do not fit the stereotype held of the "traditional" college student. Special Guests are educational experts, Dr. Kelmer Muhammad and Dr. Sarah Tolliver who share ideas about managing stress to prevent drop-out.
