Planning a future for school and work requires HOPE and optimism even when it feels like the world around us is falling apart. The fact that many students, teachers and employees face insecurities about their future is causing a sense of hopelessness. It is critical that families and communities encourage hope in the future, especially for optimal mental health. Dr. Applewhite and guests discuss feelings of hopelessness and will present a unique way of understanding the diagnosis of Depression, PTSD, and other mental disabilities. Hear special guest Dr. Beverly Johnson, Professor-Arizona State University discuss restoring hope and developing emotional fitness. Join Dr. Applewhite, Host, and guests at 10 am (AZ-GMT zone) every Saturday. Participate in LIVE shows by chat or calling 1-646-727-3758; or, LISTEN ANYTIME to the archived shows, see schedule at http://blogtalkradio.com/student2teacher. Veterans join our Vet2Vet© discussions with updates from Operation Veteran Promise and other organizations to help veterans with disabilities, including PTSD succeed at school and work.
