Professor Applewhite, several co-hosts and guests will share their feelings and ideas about the killing of students in Chicago and elsewhere. A silent memory to Derrion Albert and others like him, "We praise GOD for the blessing of their lives as an example to others" Interestingly, most students drop out or join gangs because of academic failure and the overall lack of support from parents, teachers, and community leaders. However, teachers burn out more because of the lack of administrative support. You are invited to listen and participate in our discussion so we can find ways to minimize teacher burnout and student dropout, together! President Obama we agree, "Yes, we can!" Special thanks to our co-hosts Nazim Rashid, author of "Reconnecting", Jerry & Donna Govan's "Take the E out f EGO and GO", Habibila Salim's "Poetry for Educators",Wendy Duncan of Farmer's Insurance, and our special guest Dr. Martha Bergin, professor of sociology and communications at GateWay college in Phoenix, Arizona. And we express an "attitude of gratitude" to all our listeners and sponsors.
