Eric Shelman was born in Fort Worth, Texas a super long time ago.  Okay, Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare was his first concert in 1975 when he was a mere lad of 15.  He'd moved to Orange County, California by that time, and hitchhiked to Los Angeles to see the show.

After seeing tons of zombie fans on Facebook, and really becoming amused by the entire zombie sub-culture, he decided to jump in and write a zombie novel.  Now, he'd never really gotten deep into zombie lore, and watched few movies, read NO books about them.  It was the way he wanted it.  He came at his first zombie novel, Dead Hunger, fresh and with nothing but (apparently) foul language in his head.  He had the best time in the world writing it, and knew at that point it would be a series - a trilogy at least.
