Then add quality backup players in the 4th and 5th rounds.   Dallas’ needs were Defensive End, Cornerback, 1-Technique Defensive Tackle, Strong Safety, Middle LB, QB and 2nd outside WR.  There were starting jobs up for grabs at all of those positions except for QB1.   I take 2 approaches when evaluating a teams draft.
