Please join me this week as I welcome Trish Broersma to Voices of the Earth. We will focus on her wonderful program, Riding Beyond, a program which opens doors to the future for women recovering from breast cancer treatment through guided experiences with horses. And we will hear about her lively partnership with Mystic, the wonderful mare who is the heart of this work.
In addition to Riding Beyond, Trish developed an innovative program in human development, published in 2007 by New World Library in Riding into Your Mythic Life: Transformational Adventures with the Horse. She is a certified PATH Therapeutic Riding Instructor and founded and operated two Premier Accredited PATH Centers in San Antonio, TX and Ashland, OR over a period of 12 years. She is a certified equine specialist and faculty member for the PATH Equine Specialist Certification Program. She is Past President of the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association and has presented at national and international conferences.
