She is responsible for nest monitoring and rescue of disorientated hatchlings, guarding of nesting females, education of the public and businesses about lighting issues, lighting surveys, disorientation reports, and creating pocket guides about sea turtle issues.

Sea Turtle Program Highland Beach FWC Statewide Morning Survey Sea Turtle Program MTP # 100. Where she is responsible for nest identification and marking, excavation of hatched nests, release of hatchlings, rescue of injured or stuck nesting females.

 • She spent 7 years working in Ulster and Dutchess Counties in NY doing animal rescue for animals who were being abused or abandoned and working to re-socialize them for adoption. 1998 - 2005
