Eric Pinto, the Senior Director of Channel for SOCSoter sits with us to discuss the effort to bring enterprise-level protection to small and medium businesses through the MSP channel.

Eric Pinto has spent the bulk of his career cultivating comprehensive IT solutions and working to better understand the security and compliance needs of SMB clients. Engagement with both end customers and service providers has allowed for a unique perspective on the security marketplace as a whole.

Specifically, Eric has become well versed in managing the relationship between vendors, customers, and the MSP channel.  Now with SOCSoter he continues this effort today; helping managed service providers navigate the evolving threat landscape with a platform designed to tackle increasing compliance and security demand.

SOCSoter was built by industry experts who’ve been on the front lines of some of the largest breaches in history.  Lessons learned from these challenges has helped SOCSoter to build and deploy a Managed Detection Response Platform for the SMB channel.  Unlike some consulting groups or specialists where IT security is a supplement to their business, SOCSoter’s core focus is Information Security.

Combining SIEM, Compliance, and Cyber Defense with a U.S. based Managed Security Operations Center (SOC); SOCSoter is a channel first / channel only solutions provider.  MSP partners are empowered to better secure, monitor, and maintain the sensitive business information infrastructure of their managed end customers.
