January 20, 2014 marked the first MLK Day Celebration in Webb, Mississippi. The theme" Change Begins With Self." This historical event was planned by television and radio talk show host  Antoinette Harrell: Webb, Mississippi Mayor Tracy Mims, the Town Council Board, with special thanks to Councilmember Denise Calhoun. 

The Keynote speaker for this event was " Min. Wilile Muhammad, of Mosque #46. He delivered a powerful speech to motivated the audience to look within self for change. 

After the event everyone toured the future home of the new "Library and Community Resource Center." They came with gloves and trash bags to clean up the building. Lots of children and young adults came out to hear the message and get to work.
