Jesus Prays

Jesus prayed for Himself and the only thing He wanted was for His Father to be glorified in His works. Jesus’ desire was to be joined and one with God just as His desire is for us to be joined as one with God.  Jesus gave proof He was the Son of God and God was in Him by the signs and wonders He did so that people would believe and have eternal life.  Jesus gave instructions to the disciples, so they would understand and continue in the faith just as we are to continue in our faith. It is the will of the Father for them to continue living their lives by the Spirit rather than in the things of the Evil One.  It is the prayer of Jesus that we have the same relationship with God as He did.  It is the prayer of Jesus to show all who believe in Him as the Son of God that we see Him in the glory as the Son of God.
