There’s a quote that’s attributed to Ram Dass that goes: "If you think you’re enlightened, go spend a week with your family." From the moment we’re born and throughout our lives, we experience relationships. Today we’re going to discuss challenges in these connections - with our family, friends, and work relationships.
Our guest today is Kathryn Ford, M.D. who specializes in relationships of all kinds and has been practicing psychotherapy, in private practice, for more than 20 years. Through the method she developed, Aperture Awareness, Kathryn guides others in staying in the present moment – which, she explains, is the key to a successful relationship. It’s where the learning and growth takes place.
Kathryn received her M.D. from Brown University Medical School and completed her psychiatry residency at The Stanford School of Medicine. She leads workshops for therapists and individuals through Stanford Continuing Studies. Read more at https://kathrynfordmd.com.
