Karen Gross is a Washington, DC and Vermont–based advisor and consultant to non-profit schools, organizations, and governments. She was president of Southern Vermont College and has served as a senior policy advisor to the United States Department of Education and as a tenured law professor for 22 years. She has also authored books for both adults and children, including Breakaway Learners and Kid Books By Karen.

Karen speaks, advises and consults on student success, improving educational leadership and handling educational crises. To that end, she serves as Senior Counsel to Finn Partners and is a visiting teacher at Molly Stark Elementary School in VT and an Affiliate of the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions.
