Lori La Bey talks with three powerful dementia advocates. Rev. Jeanette B. Jordan, the Founder & Pastor of Journey to the Cross Ministries, a Multi-Denominational Church in Park Forest, IL.  Her husband of 60 years, Robert A. Jordan, was a pediatrician diagnosed with Dementia in 2016.  Also joining us is Tammy Jacobs a Community Engagement Specialist with the New IDEAS study. She is responsible for the recruitment of Champion volunteers who will share awareness about the study, Alzheimer’s disease, and other dementias. And our third advocate is Dr. Fayron Epps, a nurse with over 20 years of experience who serves as an assistant professor the Director of Community and Research Engagement in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Emory University. Dr. Epps is the founder of the Alter Program, a nurse-led dementia-friendly congregation program.
