Alzheimer's Speaks Radio - Shifting dementia care from crisis to comfort around the world one episode at a time by raising all voices and delivering sounds news, not just sound bites since 2011.

Lori La Bey founder of Alzheimer's Speaks Radio talks with Sarah Ashton was diagnosed with early onset dementia at the age of 57. At that time, Sarah was working as a senior district manager for New South Wales Health in the Mid North Coast. Her position responsibilities included District Management for Accreditation, Risk Management Consumer Advocacy and Legislative Compliance. Overnight, Sarah lost her job and most of her friends as her diagnosis became known. For the past few years, Sarah has been working as an advocate for Dementia Australia. She also sits on the National Dementia Advisory Council.
