Sarah Cook, Founder of Raising CEO Kids, is a sought after speaker, business coach, sales trainer, and co-author of “The Parent’s Guide to Raising CEO Kids” (2011). She was the host of the 2009 CEO Kids Success Summit, and the 2010 Cash Savvy Kids Summit Sarah believes that when teens develop their own business they master real life skills that can only be gained by “doing”. These “life” skills include business management, financial management, service, public speaking, problem solving, and so much more. Sarah has interviewed over 160 young entrepreneurs and most of their parents, uncovering the pillars and pitfalls of being a successful teen CEO. In her soon-to-be released book, Sarah discusses ways that teens can turn their talents and motivation into money. She helps teens and tweens around the world get the support, tools and strategies they need to live their dreams. 00:30:00alyssaavantnokids,entreprenuers,moms,business,lifeSarah Cook    Sarah Cook will be joining us on July 28th for The Balancing Act. Casey is a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in psychology. She is a Christian Life Purpose Coach, speaker and children’s book author. Casey is an expert in quitting the things that just take up space and, instead, creating life on purpose! She has a coaching practice Quit To Grow Rich, is a certified coach of The CALL, and wrote the book, Should, Could, and Would. She has a background in psychology and social work and has held successful positions as both an entrepreneur and employee. Casey was the co-owner of a Montessori school and helped manage all aspects of the school. She was a case manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters and enjoyed making a difference in the lives of the children and the volunteers. After becomming a mom and making motherhood her priority, she held positions that were part-time and allowed her to be with her young daughters. She was successful at getting into law school, but decided that it was not the right time to pursue a law degree because it would take too much time away from raising her children. A defining moment for her was this decision not to pursue a law degree. She searched deep within herself to figure out how God wired her. She realized that she needed to stay true to her values, priorities and God-given strengths in order to be happy and successful. She prayed and really started listening to God to figure out her purpose for being on this earth. She knew that she needed to pursue a career that allowed her to be available for her family while also allowing her to make a difference in the lives of others. Casey’s God-given strengths are encouragement and leadership. Coaching is a natural fit. Life Purpose Coaching is a natural passion! 00:30:00alyssaavantnoChristian mom, business, entrepreneur, passion, purposeThe topic for this week’s show will be Just Do It, Quit Again with Christian Mompreneur Casey Sollock.
