Wardell, entered the music scene in Philadelphia in the 1970's, she became an integral part of The Sound of Philadelphia.  She sang with MFSB and was a member of First Choice which had hits on PhillyGroove Records and Salsoul Records. Wardell Piper has a new recording contract with Society Hill Records and she is currently working on a brand new project with legendary producer Butch Ingram including the song "Keep Living" .
