Dr. dt ogilvie joins host Annalisa Adams-Qualtiere, founder/President of Altruistic Leadership & Monika Brooks, Founder of Great Books for Our Kids & Leadershing and Diversity consultant to discuss work, risk, & career management for diverse leaders. Dr dt ogilvie launched The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development at Rutgers University, the fall of 1988. Building an excellent research –driven, teaching and practitioner-oriented program focused on transforming the economy of Newark, New Jersey, and other urban centers, was her vision. Dr ogilvie is an Associate Professor at Rutgers Business School where she teaches business strategy, creativity in business, and executive leadership & international negotiations. She is a speaker, author, & guest columnist. Her article “How African-American Women Lead” is a must read. She continues in her role as a longstanding (22 years) member of the National Black MBA Association, where she served for 9 years on its Board of Directors, most recently as Vice Chair of the Board.
