A strong woman does not necessarily mean a woman that is very educated, professional and intelligent but do men separate the two? Men seem to shy away from and/or avoid women who are intelligent, smart and hold powerful positions within the workforce. This same behavior is seen by men who encounter women who speak their mind, "holds their own" and may not need a partner financially.
