Femslash4Fans Radio continues its discussion of popular lesbian webseries in February by chatting with one of our friendly neighbors to the north. We'll look at the Canadian webseries "Seeking Simone" and its writer/co-creator Rosemary Rowe. "Seeking Simone" follows the mishaps of Simone Selkin (Renee Olbert), a gay television actress suffering the first awkward steps of online dating after a bad breakup, as seen through her correspondence with her best friend Audrey (Anna Chatterton). It's further proof of what little difference there is between gay and straight people - because virtually everyone, American or Canadian, who has ever tried online dating has been where Simone is. After a successful first run of five episodes, a second season was completed in Fall 2010, and while we're waiting - maybe just a BIT impatiently - for the editing to be completed, Rosemary will be talking to me about the show, the cast, her own experiences with online dating, and what to expect from Season Two.
