To prepare you for Thanksgiving we lined up a double portion of inspiration with half the calories.
First to our table is the radiant Kem Smith. Kem is well known as the Owner of K.I.S.S. Fitness Studio. Equally at home in the health and physical fitness sector as she is in the world of words, Smith is the author of both non-fiction and fiction. Kem is the daughter of a military father, Kem Smith was born in Amberg, Germany. She has lived in North St. Louis County since her family returned to the United States. She resides in St. Louis with her husband and children.
Our second course features a touching conversation with Malana Ashlie about planting the seeds that change the word. As young girl, Malana wanted her life to be extraordinary; not rock star status, but one that would leave a gentle footprint. That desire was her beacon as she raised three children to become upstanding adults, then worked with women inspiring them to find security within. She has been planting seeds of change from Florida to Hawaii to Central America. All these were amazing experiences, and yet, she states, "I am just beginning." Malana continues the journey today in Honduras with a Single Mothers Project.
