Our guest this week is not what you would call a household name, but this guy can play some serious guitar!!
Kajun Kelley is a veteran of the Washington DC/Baltimore music scene, earning a reputation as a well-respected singer/songwriter and musician, but in particular for being one of the best guitarists around.
In 1995, Kajun was approached by blues great Deanna Bogart. Bogart was putting together a new lineup, and asked if Kajun would be interested in joining her band. From 1995 - 2006 Kajun toured all over the United States, Europe, and Canada and playing with a host of big name artists such as B.B King * James Brown * Ray Charles * Buddy Guy * Little Feat * Stevie Nicks and more.
This week Kajun will tell us stories of the road, what it is like working as a full time musician plus, for the gearheads out there, I will be checking out what he has been using over the years to get his great sound.
