Thus the true purpose of man's life is the worship of God, His understanding and complete devotion to Him. It is obvious that man is not in a position to appoint the purpose of his own life, for he does not come into the world of his own accord, nor will he depart therefrom of his own will. Often, the killing of innocent people, suicidal bombings, and terrorist activities are carried out by people who claim to be Muslims, though in reality, the rebellious actions of these ignorant people have nothing to do with Islam. Rather, the real responsibility for these malicious and rebellious acts lies with the so-called scholars of Islam, who were gravely mistaken in understanding the issue of Jihad, and considered the unjustified killing of human beings by sword a religious duty. These people, because of the distortion of their hearts, wrongly interpreting some of the Mutashabihat (complex and multifaceted) verses of the Holy Qur’an equated Islamic Jihad to rebellion, and associated self-concocted imprudent beliefs to Islam. "The message of Islam does not need any compulsion for its propagation. The real truth is that this rebellion has been spread by the Maulvies (Islamic clerics), who are the unwise friends of Islam. They did not understand the reality of Islam, and provided an opportunity to others to raise objections because of their concocted beliefs. The beliefs concocted by them greatly aided the Christians. If they had not deceived others about jihad or misunderstood the meaning of jihad, no one would have taken advantage of the opportunity to criticize Islam." Catholics, Protestants, and Muslims all claim to believe in Jesus. Why, then, are there such differences among his believers? The fact is that his teachings have been misinterpreted and misrepresented. Jesus himself did what a sincere Muslim would have done. He submitted to the will of God. He, further, prophesied the corning of Prophet Muhammad. This short booklet offers Biblical teachings which disavow some beliefs which are wrongly attributed to Jesus Christ. It tells that there is no contradiction between Islam and true Christianity. True Christianity, in fact, leads to Islam. The whole purpose of this booklet is to promote better understanding, closer relationship, peace, and harmony between Muslims and Christians.   Jesus said: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment ... I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. According to the Arabic lexicon, Ani Christ/Dajjal signifies a group of people who present themselves as trustworthy and pious, but are neither trustworthy nor pious. Rather, everything they say is full of dishonesty and deceit. This characteristic is to be found in the class of Christians known as the clergy. An- other group is that of the philosophers and thinkers who are busy trying to assume control of machines, industries and the Divine scheme of things.  They are the Dajjal because they deceive God’s creatures by their actions and tall claims as if they are partners in God’s dominion. The clergy are arrogating to themselves the status of Prophethood because they ignore the true heavenly Gospel and spread a perverted and corrupted version as the supposed translation of the Gospel.  If Dajjal is taken to mean someone other than the misguided preachers of Christianity, this would entail a contradiction, because the very Ahadith which indicate that the Dajjal will prevail over the earth in the latter days, also indicate that in those days the power of the church will overwhelm all religions. This contradiction can only be solved by affirming that the two are one and the same. We also witness fulfilment of whatever he foretold.   When divine communities progress, their detractors try their utmost to stop their progress by means of force or through the help of supporters whom they deem powerful. At times, they also surreptitiously and cunningly try to take those who have weak faith or who lack Tarbiyyat or adolescents away from the truth. This is why each Ahmadi should increase his or her religious knowledge and be aware of what he or she believes in and why he or she believes it so that they can respond to such covert enemies. In addition, and more importantly, we should pray for our belief because without God’s grace nothing can come to pass. For this, God has taught us a prayer: ‘Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us; and bestow on us mercy from Thyself; surely, Thou alone art the Bestower. (3:9). Thus one’s belief is safeguarded by God’s mercy alone and this is why a humble person is ever in need of His help, indeed, should be in need of His help. This is not the fault of those who are frightened. Unfortunately, certain so-called Islamic groups, and certain others, have depicted Islam in such a way that it appears to be an uncivilized, extremist, belligerent and bellicose religion. Just hearing the name of Islam leads to an impression of swords, bombings and suicide attacks. Muslim countries need to understand their responsibilities. In Muslim countries where there is apparent peace, there too Muslim is killing Muslim. If the government passes sentence on any leader, his sympathisers rise in revolt and start a murdering spree. What kind of Islam is this? Cruelty and barbarity is at its height in Muslim countries or Muslims are embroiled in it in the name of Islam. Whereas God has stated that the sign of a true believer is that due to his connection with God, his connection with creation is strong, especially Muslims are like brothers among themselves. In his Farewell Sermon, the Holy Prophet(saw) said: ‘Even as this month is sacred, this land inviolate, and this day holy, so has God made the lives, property and honour of every man sacred. O people! you will surely meet your Lord soon and He will ask you of your works. Do not become disbelievers once again after me lest you start killing each other. The maximum one can grant is that this doctrine started taking shape after the Crucifixion. It took many centuries for it to reach its final well-defined but inexplicable form. It went through a long process of extremely bitter and controversial debates between Christian theologians and philosophers representing different religious, cultural and traditional backgrounds. It was greatly influenced by the myths and the traditions of various lands which hosted Christianity in its early period. The main stem of Christianity, however, which took care of and nurtured the development of Christian beliefs and philosophy in its early formative part was of Jewish stock. Jewish influence remained predominant throughout the early part of Christian history. The disciples of Jesus who learnt and understood Christianity directly from Jesus and witnessed it in the form of his life, belonged to this stock. They were the primary custodians of Christianity with deeply embedded roots in the holy soil of Jesus’ instructions and way of life. It was they who witnessed the Crucifixion and had seen Jesus survive from his attempted murder. His importance does not remain confined to the Christian world alone but also to other major religions such as Judaism and Islam in particular. If these powerful religions were to unite in one common understanding about the nature of the person of Christ, his first and also his promised second advent, then such an understanding would lead to the resolution of many problems confronting mankind today. Unfortunately, even the very basic facts about the life of Jesus, his purpose, ideology and person are completely misunderstood. In their perception of these aspects, these religions are so strongly at odds with each other that a bitter rivalry among them becomes inevitable. When we look at the facts of Crucifixion and consider what happened and why it happened, Redemption and its related philosophy, we find conflicting answers from various early sources. I have chosen to address this question solely from a logical point of view. I believe that this is the only platform, common to all, which can be used for a fruitful constructive dialogue. Otherwise, any discussion on the basis of what the individual scriptures present, along with their various interpretations, would lead to a tangle of controversy from which it would be difficult to wriggle out of. Two thousand years have already come to pass, yet based on the scriptures alone, no solution, which could be equally acceptable to all, has been reached. The crux of the problem is that the very reliability of certain scriptural claims is further compounded by their various divergent explanations. Also, immense complications arise out of the gradual growth of conflicting understandings revolving around the historical person of Christ. This movement captured the fancy of the Americans and prestigious papers like the Century and Independent New York published articles and features on this emerging figure. Dowie claimed the divine power of healing and his fame spread so fast that it caught the imagination of many credulous and wealthy Americans. The progress was so tremendous that soon his Apostolic Church had its own bank, its own printing plant and thousands of people were flocking to this movement. 01:15:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoDr. John Alexander Dowie was an American who proclaimed that God has in the ?Spirit and Power of Elijah? sent him. In order to avoid what I might call the "cold bath syndrome" I will make some brief prefatory remarks. Such a preface may avoid the shock and confusion of a plunge into the unfamiliar world of nineteenth century Islam.   I have no idea how many readers may have heard of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam. As we shall see a little later, the Movement originated when a devout Muslim, living in the Punjab, declared in 1889 that he was Mahdi and Messiah. This was the point at which experiences of revelation that went back to 1876, when Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was 41 years old, came to a sharp focus. At that dramatic moment, a pious and devout personality reached a plateau of self-realization. From then to the time of his death in 1908, Hazrat Ahmad was the human and prophetic energy that led what his followers felt as the renaissance of Islam. 01:28:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoAhmadiyyat is, what we might call, a messianic sect of Islam. THE Quran says that be was not a Messenger who brought newfangled doctrines (46:10). There had been lawbearing prophets before him, for instance Moses, through whom God had proclaimed the advent of a lawbearing Prophet "like unto him" (Deut. 18: 18). This means that Muhammad had been selected by God as a fit and appropriate channel for conveying the Divine law and guidance to mankind. His claim that he had been so selected implied that his personality had been molded to that end and that he illustrated conformity to that law and guidance in his own conduct. It is necessary, therefore, briefly to study his personality and character in order to see whether that implication was justified. What type of man was he? How did he deal with his fellow beings? How did he discharge his duty to God? Though Muhammad lived in a region which had slight contacts with the rest of the world and at a time when the art of history was still in its infancy, his was a truly historical personality. He lived his life in the full light of day. Enough is known of his early life to enable us to form a fair idea of his qualities and character. After he received the Divine Call his every word, act, and gesture were observed, and a complete record of them has been preserved. It was necessary that that should be so, for otherwise not only would certainty and confidence be lacking, but his life could not furnish us with an example of what he taught. 01:38:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoMUHAMMAD WAS A LAWBEARING PROPHET. The note commented that the famous British historian had presented a unique philosophy of history based on the analysis of the development and decline of many civilizations of the world. Toynbee's critical and philosophical Study, a voluminous work, also contained his understanding of the historical role of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (May peace and blessing of God be on him). Toynbee asserted that the Prophet of Islam discharged his sublime and purely prophetic duties in Makkah but after Hijra he abandoned his prophetic mission in Madinahh and his spirit succumbed to secular temptation of becoming a political monarch, being an Arabian Caesar. That note pertaining to Toynbee's unfounded and utterly false allegations against the noble person of the Holy Prophet of Islam got stuck in my mind and I decided to refute it whenever God granted me an opportunity. The Eastern religions and superstitions (Egyptian, Syrian, Persian) appealed to many in the Roman world and found numerous votaries. The fatal fault of many of these creeds was that in many respects they were so ignoble ...When Christianity conquered Caesarism at the commencement of the fourth century, it, in its turn, became Caesarised. No longer was it the pure creed which had been taught some three centuries before. It had become largely de spiritualised, ritualised, materialised .......How, in a few years, all this was changed, how, by 650 AD a great part of this world became a different world from what it had been before, is one of the most remarkable chapters in human history .... This wonderful change followed, if it was not mainly caused by, the life of one man, the Prophet of Mecca ... Man should try to model himself on Divine attributes, by bringing his natural impulses which are themselves a proof of His existence and adumbrate His attributes intoproper use under the Shariah.Love, for instance, is a natural emotion, but it can become a great moral quality if used properly, i.e., in conformity with the attributes of God. Faithfulness, mercy, anger, honour, etc., are also natural emotions that can become excellent morals if manifested and put into use at the appropriate time and place. All these faculties have been vouchsafed to man because he has been created in the image of his Creator. In themselves, these faculties are neither good nor bad, it is only their use that makes them one or the other. In man these qualities should be exercised in conformity with God’s Act (Nature), and Word (the Shariah). There is no other solution to such a complex and entangled problem. I could go further and point out many other benefits one can derive from belief in God, but this much should suffice for now. I wish to make it clear, however, that I have only discussed the benefits which are normally obtained through belief in God, and have not gone into much greater spiritual, moral, intellectual, and even material benefits a true believerderives as he advances further and further towards God. 00:53:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoMan cannot adopt true morals unless he imbues himself with the colours of the attributes of his Creator and Master. If he does not dig downwards and instead starts digging parallel to the surface, he will never catch sight of water even if he continues to dig for 200 miles. No sensible person would accept his lamentation that he worked so hard and yet found no water. To those who doubt it, I will ask just one question: After analysing the state of their own hearts and of their fellows, can they honestly say that they all truly believe in God? I speak not of superficial or inherited ritual, but of true and living faith. Do they feel and experience the existence of God as they feel and experience the material and tangible things of this world? Are they as certain about the existence of God as they are about the existence of the sun, the moon, the mountains, the rivers, their houses, their ancestors, and their friends? If not, then understand it well that we cannot consider their faith to be true. They are not in the least certain about the existence of God, and can be  likened to those who hold on to a zombie imagining it to be alive. True faith, in short, is conspicuous by its absence in the present age. Not only is it absent from the hearts of the masses, but those who profess to be the leaders of religion and claim to be custodians of people’s faith have themselves fallen prey to atheism. They either deceive the world or are themselves deceived. Their lips profess but their hearts are empty. Every now and then, the idea occurs to him thatGod, Who has created him and controls the universe, may indeed exist and that some day he may have to be answerable to Him. Of course, such a person would feel a certain association with the idol of an imaginary god, and this thought may at times stop him from sin and urge him to do good, and he might at times manage to look beyond the material things towards God and feel that real trust can only be placed in Him. But such a state cannot be called true faith, rather it is a state of doubt which keeps him swaying like a pendulum. It can only be called true faith when it becomes a permanent part of one’s life and takes root in one’s heart as an eternal truth. It should become the food for his soul and a beacon to warn him of all the dark alleys of sin. Through such faith the paths of righteousness are illuminated for him and all material things lose their significance. He no longer depends on material means but places his real trust in God—the ultimate Cause of all causes. The fire of Divine love continues to blaze in his heart, and the fear of earning His displeasure overwhelms his entire being. Do you really find such faith in your hearts? If not and that is most likely to be the case then please do not claim yourselves as believers. Seek true faith which descends from heaven and lights up the farthest and darkest recesses of the heart like a powerful lamp instead. When this happens, God shall cease to be a figment of your imaginations and shall reveal Himself in His true form, as a Living, Self-Subsisting and Omnipotent Sovereign, Who is Loving and Kind. He came to re-enforce the old commandments. He said: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven". (Matthew 5:17-19). God conlmanded the Israelites, according to the Old Testament:"I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt have none other gods before me ... Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath or in the waters beneath the earth". (Deuteronomy 5:6-8) Over and over again, the Old Testament has very explicitly and emphatically enjoined belief in one God: "the Lord our God is one Lord". (Deuteronomy 6:4) "And Jesus answered him. The first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. This is the first commandment". (Mark 12:29-30) Moreover, Jesus said: "And behold, one came and said unto him, 'Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?' And he said unto him. 'Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments'". (Matthew 19:16-17) Thus, Jesus strongly believed in the absolute oneness of God, and enjoined others to believe in it. Man, who considers himself to be educated and civilized, is reverting back to the period of ignorance when personal ego and false pride, led people to cut each other's throats so much so that whole tribes and dynasties indulged in such barbaric acts. If for the sake of our personal gain or loss or for the sake of our own rights, or for the rights of our dear ones, we fight only for our rights, but neglect the rights of other people, or usurp their rights in the process, we can never establish peace. The Prophet Buddha also predicted his return, and Guru Baba Nanak predicted the advent of a great Reformer. If the advent of future Messengers had ceased how could all these people agree on the single fact that a Promised One of the latter days was yet to appear. If all these predictions are true and come to pass, then a competition will develop between each perspective claimant, calling mankind into his camp, causing nothing but turmoil, confusion and conflict. Thus is the opposite of what is expected. A golden era of peace. On the one hand, the similarities of the signs contained in the prophecies concerning the Promised One show they cannot be false, and on the other hand, the appointed task of all the Promised Ones makes it impossible that at one and the same time all these expected Saviours should cause their respective religions to triumph over all others. Mankind has, during the last two centuries or so, been pressing forward towards a unit of aim and purpose, and all the developments that have taken place towards bringing different sections into closer relations with each other afford the strongest indication that the great Messiah of the latter days would be a single person with several roles, and that this person by means of his spiritual powers would gather together men of all faiths, and guide the nations of the world along the right path. 01:20:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoWe find that all religions contain prophecies concerning the advent of a special religious personality, in the latter days The Hindus were awaiting the advent oSecond Coming of Messiahhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/ahmadiyyat/2013/12/14/second-coming-of-messiahIslamhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/ahmadiyyat/2013/12/14/second-coming-of-messiah/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/ahmadiyyat/2013/12/14/second-coming-of-messiahSat, 14 Dec 2013 21:00:00 GMTSecond Coming of MessiahVarious voices and opinions have emerged from the Muslim world since the death of Osama bin Laden. Some Muslims express relief that his reign of terror has come to an end, whereas others express condemnation for the manner of his death. Some Muslims feel this will help the Muslim world, whereas others argue it will cause more problems. People like Irshad Manji go as far as to say that we must reform Islam itself. With such disunity among Muslims, it is evident that Muslims need a spiritual leader who can unite them all under a single banner of peace and instill in them the correct interpretation of Islam. But attempts at appointing this reformer will inevitably fail. No average person we choose can perform this duty. Ms. Manji is absolutely right that Muslims need reformation for spiritual advancement. But she forgets that mankind cannot spearhead this cause. True reformation must be divinely guided. After all, the Prophet of Islam warned about this time of disunity and chaos in the Muslim world, but he also explained its solution and for the world in general. Let's explore this topic in detail. The Jews believe that Jesus died on the cross because he was a false prophet. In this Connection they quote the Bible. "And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree" is "the accursed of God".(Deut.21:22-23). According to them, Jesus was a false prophct, therefore he died on the cross as the accursed of God. The Christians also believe that Jesus was hanged on the cross and died an accursed death. Says Paul:"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree". (Galatians 3:13).  But the Holy Quran declares that Christ did not die on the Cross. God saved him from death by crucifixion in the same way as He saved His dear ones from tribulations, Did not Jonah the Prophet come out alive from the belly of the whale? The fact of the matter is that Jesus Christ only fell into a swoon on the Cross, but when he was taken down from it, he recovered then died a natural death at the good old age of 120.On the strength of their belief that Jesus was a false prophet the Jews, Particularly the Pharisees of his time brought serious political charges against him alleging that he was disloyal to the Roman Emperor, and that he claimed himself to be the King of the Jews. The governor, Pilate was not convinced of his guilt but being influenced by the tumult of the multitude he delivered Jesus to be crucified. They put him on the cross where he remained, at the utmost, for three or four hours only and then was taken down in a swoon and placed in a sepulchre in a garden nearby.  Please contact Nafis Rehman at nafees502@yahoo.com or nafis.rehman4@gmail.com Thanks01:30:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoHis death is equally a controversial affair with the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims. In search of facts and truth, however, let us see if there is other evidence available on their subject. The proclaimed mission of Jesus was to seek, preach to and save the lost tribes of Israel. Following his escape from the cross and sensing danger in staying at the place of his persecution, we find him traveling in disguise to Damascas through Judea, Samaria, Nazareth and to the Sea of Tiberius in search of the lost tribes. The place where Jesus first stayed for a time about two miles from Damascas is even to this day know as Maqam-i-Isa (which means the resting or halting place of Jesus). This place was originally called Rabwah. He was called the son of God, an expression that was in common use in scripture but was always employed metaphorically and in no single instance did it connote God. Nowhere in the Gospels or the Epistles is it said that Jesus referred to himself as God or implied that he was God. The expression, Lord, was applied to him but there is no evidence that those who made use of this expression with reference to him believed, or meant to convey, that he was God. It was used as a synonym for master. Bible, Torah and Holy Quran tells us the Jesus came as Peophet for the 12 tribes of Isralites as Messiah of Moses to implement Moses Shariah. He completed his work and passed away his natural death. He also travelled to Kashmir India in puersuite to deliver his message to all 12 tribes and thats where he died. 00:51:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoAhmadiyyat The True Islam,Truth Can never be hidden,Truth will set you free,Love For All Hatred For None,Honesty is the Best PolicyJesus was the last prophet in Israel. What I wish to discuss is something that has caused Islamaphobia in the Western and non-Muslim. There can be no doubt that this state of fear and anxiety has been fuelled by the acts of certain so-called Muslims or so-called Muslim groups. However there is also no doubt, that the acts of terrorism or extremism they perpetrate have nothing whatsoever to do with the true teachings of Islam. The very meaning of ‘Islam’ is peace, security and giving a guarantee of protection against all forms of harm and evil. Indeed, the Holy Quran declares that this is the teaching that every single Prophet of God taught. Islam requires Muslims to abide by its teachings and fundamental amongst them is that they must not only fulfil the rights owed to God Almighty, but just as importantly they must also fulfil the rights owed to God’s Creation. The Quran has shined a bright light on the beauty of the teachings of all Prophets by making it clear that they all drew mankind’s attention to fulfilling the rights owed both to God and to His Creation. How then could it be possible, that on the one hand, God has praised the qualities of all religions for urging mankind to fulfil the rights of God and of man, yet on the other hand God could enjoin the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), upon whom the Great Book was revealed, to not establish peace and security in the world? How could it be possible that they were instructed to cause destruction and to destroy the peace and security of the world? Certainly no wise person could ever accept this. One reason for this is that a few years after the beginning of Islam, anti-Islamic powers began a propaganda that Islam is a religion of extremism and violence and wants to compel others into belief by means of the sword. This, of course, is incorrect. In the beginning, the Muslims of Makkah suffered persecution but they remained silent. Finally, they migrated to Madinah but there too the disbelievers hounded the Muslims and forced upon them a battle to which I will revert later. The proof against those opponents who allege that Islam was spread by the sword is that although the disbelievers of Makkah raised all sorts of objections, yet history stands witness to the fact that the people of Makkah themselves never complained that theMuslims had used the sword against the disbelievers to compel them to change their faith. Secondly, what has given Islam a bad name is an ugly and awful image of extremism presented, whether knowingly or unwittingly, by some Muslim groups and organizations , and these groupsunfortunately had personal vested interests. In order to see a religion’s beauties or its defects, justice requires that you should make its teachings or its holy scriptur the anvil by which to judge it, otherwise everyone would accuse every other faith willy-nilly. A n y h o w, let us first see what the Holy Qur’an commands to do in order to establish peace. God Almighty says in the Holy Qur’ a n : Whosoever killed a person – unless it be for killing a person or for creating disorder in the land – it shall be as if he had killed all mankind.(Al Maidah, Ch.5: v. 33) 00:47:00Ahmadiyyat The True IslamnoAhmadiyyat The,True Face of Islam,LOVE FOR ALL,HATRED FOR NONE,The ONLY TYPE OF JIHAD ALLOWED IS VIA PENWhenever one wishes to speak about Islam as a religion of peace, the question naturally springs to mind that whereas there are so many religions in the world sTrue Concept of Jihad in Islamhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/ahmadiyyat/2013/10/25/true-concept-of-jihad-in-islamIslamhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/ahmadiyyat/2013/10/25/true-concept-of-jihad-in-islam/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/ahmadiyyat/2013/10/25/true-concept-of-jihad-in-islamFri, 25 Oct 2013 14:00:00 GMTTrue Concept of Jihad in IslamJihad means, exerting one's utmost power contending with an object of disapprobation, and this is of three kinds, namely, (1) with a visible enemy, (2) with Satan, and (3) with one's self.
