Our Host: Reginald Grant, MSEd is an English Teacher, author and leading expert on Reaching and Teaching African American and other urban youth. A former NFL player for the New York Jets, he also finds time to serve on several boards of national organizations working with youth. He is the author of “Thoughts of An Urban Teacher” (2017), “Effective Mentoring in the 21st Century” (2017) a workbook, "Success Stories Insights by African American Men" and the workbook for young readers (2016). Success Stories Insights by African American Men" is an inspirational collection of stories by 19 African American Men. It also includes researched based information by Reginald Grant, MSEd on Reaching and Teaching African American Children. A cross-generational collection of stories from college students to men in retirement, a true glimpse into the journey of African-American Men in America. He is also the author of,”A Case for Bilingual Education” (2015),“A Teacher’s View Education in America.”(2014) and numerous teacher guides, workbooks, and articles.
