Grief is a term most commonly associated with death, but grief also can be a misunderstood and unacknowledged part of a birth mother's experience with adoption. The grief felt by a birth mother is both unique and complicated, and in this podcast a woman opens up to share her experience. When Rosie was 18 years old she made an adoption plan for her son, a while she knew she made a wonderful decision for him she struggled with not being able to "move on" as was suggested by many people she knew. Listen in to hear Rosie's story and learn more about how family, friends, adoptive parents, and professionals can all better support a woman planning adoption.
