Born and raised in the city of Detroit Michigan, Maria Curry has been singing since the age of 5.  Raised in a family rooted in Motown, music and singing were always a part of the home. Her family would discover that this was a dream and a desire of Maria's to fulfill.  When 14 years old, Maria was placed into modeling classes to pursue a modeling career. Singing was never placed on the back burner.  Competiting in talent shows and being a part of groups and singing in high school it was apparent which path she was desired to pursue. When 18 she was doing fashion shows and clothing stores like Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewart, JC Penny's and The Gap. This choice was not a dream to fulfill.  Totally concentrating on singing, Maria would join groups and different bands.
Something very important occured in Maria's life in 1987.  Maria was introduced and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour.  During her course of being a born again Christian, Maria has sang with groups like Young Artist for Christ with Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, Marvin Miller, Commission and Witness.  She has worked with Earl Wright, Derek Dirkson, Michael Brooks, Min Sean Hardin, Jeremy Santana,

Maria is a licened minister and attends Worldchangers Church International.  Creflo Dollar and Taffy Dollar are her pastors.  She is also the mother of two sons.
