Dr. Tim Kane is Chief Economist at the Hudson Institute. He has twice served at the Joint Economic Committee of the US Congress and served as an intelligence officer in the US Air Force from 1990 to 1995. His latest book, co-authored with Glenn Hubbard, is called Balance: The Economics of Great Powers From Ancient Rome To Modern America.

Jayne Jones, a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, left Capitol Hill to work for the Minnesota House of Representatives, where she was the Executive Assistant to the Speaker of the House. She and co-author, Alicia Long, co-authors of Capitol Hell began their political careers by working for former Senator Norm Coleman (MN).
