Tanéa James was born in California. Her mother was murdered when she was just four years of age. Leaving her and her oldest brother in the hands of their father. Not only was Tanéa's mother murdered but six months later her mother's brother was murdered as well. He was the only man that Tanéa remembers loving her. By the time Tanea was six, she remembers the inappropriate touching by a family member. That is where manipulation was introduced. At the age of about seven or eight Tanéa's dad got remarried. He began to plant lies in Tanea and her brother's head which caused Tanéa to have some reservations about her new mom. Which in turn caused Tanéa not to accept the love that her new mom was trying so hard to give her. As Tanéa's life went on there was physical mental and emotional abuse. There were also molestations and rapes that had been happening. Not only did Tanéa feel like she had to fight the monsters in the street but she was also being attacked by the boogeyman at home her father. Parenting does not come with a handbook however we should know right from wrong. the effects in life from Tanéa's many traumas, caused the effect of not trusting, being very defensive all of the time, and afraid to live life to her full capacity. Men do not realize the effects of not being in their children's lives. Tanéa's father was in the home but not there for her. He was not teaching her what love was so she tried to find it in the world which led to a lot of bad decisions and even worse situations. Through all of life's circumstances, Tanéa is still looking for the one thing she never received from her father and that is the love that only a father can give his children this is what has brought Tanéa to this point of being broken and poured out.
