Sally's Worldhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/Sallys-WorldI guess the sally's world blog will tell you much more than I can here. I'm a mum first before anything else. I'm a published author, I run my own business and with the help of friends am starting a charity, set up in the name of my late son Aaron. But thats only a few things I do. I am a very motivated person, I jump in with both feet and give 1000% to everything I do. I only sleep 4 hours a night, but could still do with another 3 hours in the day to get everyhting done. Lifes a little mad, but I like it that way. There are so many things I want to achieve for myself and my children,so I make sure I do something towards that every day. I treat people only the way I wish to be treated, and even though it means I get stepped on sometimes, I won't change it. It's who I am, loving, caring and generous (I hope!!!) enCopyright Sally Stephenson (C/O Blogtalkradio)Fri, 14 Jun 2019 20:45:00 GMTSun, 16 Nov 2008 17:30:00 GMTBlogsBlogTalkRadio Feed v2.0https://dasg7xwmldix6.cloudfront.net/hostpics/6eb86f01-5321-4645-99ae-e0f1140256bcimg_2241.jpgSally's Worldhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/Sallys-WorldI guess the sally's world blog will tell you much more than I can here. We are going to be talking about the issues surrounding being a full time mum and carer. There are so many issues on this subject that effect how we feel about ourselves and what we do, and what we feel we contribute to society and the family unit. You can phone in and have your say, agree, disagree, whatever you want, as always, we love getting your views too. We will ask why it is predominantly women who end up filling this role? Is this another outdated tradition, or is it the way it should be? We will explore how we end up where we do in general, is it by spoken agreement, it is just presumed, has it just ended up that way? Who is it that decided these things? Has maternal instinct got a lot to answer for? And even if we chose it, are we happy where we are, can caring alone be fulfilling? What message are we sending our children? How do we feel about the stereotypes society has about our role in general? Big breath! So we will explore as many of these issues and feelings as we can.00:45:00Sally's WorldnoCarers,Parenting, disabilities, childrenzJust a quick reminder to say don’t forget to tune in to our live radio show 5.30pm tonight. Do we really get more than we can cope with? or should we not just embrace our extra special children for the precious gift they are?
