Lawrence Furman: Revisiting the Western Way of Birth and Death. Lawrence is the author of the upcoming book Medium Rare, Memoir of a Slightly Mad Mystic, and joins me for a frank discussion about life in the hereafter, as well as his work in mid-wifing not only birth, but also death. Lawrence reminds us that we enter this world on a breath and we leave it with a last breath. Lawrence has given annual natural childbirth classes to a group of students at the University of Miami, discussing alternative methods of childbirth, and the effects of the birth script upon future relationships. Lawrence has personally been through three near death experiences, and has also been a trance medium since 1992.
